Playing dCrops is a great way to experience firsthand the implications of blockchain, Web 3.0, and NFTs.

Here are some quick takeaways:

- all the transactions are recorded in the Hive blockchain network
- each transaction has to be approved/signed through the wallet
- each card is essentially an NFT, and can be sold as such in the market
- the 'human readable username' address is easy to use in that cards and packs can be easily transferred to another user using the 'username'
- the Hive network is fast and feeless!
- there are 'tokenomics' within this game that is probably self-reinforcing, as with many crypto projects
- value creation in the making while this game progresses
