# Avoid Changelly!

With Poloniex being so inconsistent nowadays and no longer accepting steem dollars, many users are looking elsewhere for a place to convert their steem dollars, but be careful where you go! Not all websites are trustworthy, and one such example is Changelly.

Changelly is run by MinerGate, and if you follow me you already know the concerns I have with them ([read my post on MinerGate here](https://steemit.com/cryptocurrencies/@cryptoviking/minergate-one-to-avoid)). In short this is a company with suspicious affiliations and suspicious "missing" hash power. I for one am not going to trust my crypto to those guys. While I have no evidence that Changelly is not delivering as advertised, I am not willing to take that risk, and I hope you guys don't either.
