A long time back when I just started my journey on Steem (now Hive), there used to be a page view counter for the articles that you have posted on Steemit. Of course it is not the most accurate piece of data, but I thought it was quite useful to help users understand what content performs the best. I always believe in writing articles that will draw readers from outside the Hive community. This serves 2 purposes. First, it helps to boost traffic to Hive, which in turns boost the value of the platform. Second, every external reader has the potential to be a new user on Hive. However, there isn't a reliable way to determine which article is the most popular. Today I get to know about this new feature on [Peakd.com](https://peakd.com/) which provides data on the number of views your articles received. I thought it is quite useful. To access this tool, simply click on the top-right drop down menu (which shows your username) -> "Tools" -> "Views". Here are my top articles in the past month.

Apparently my top article in terms of views is the one where I compared the various crypto exchanges in Singapore. Perhaps I was able to draw in some non-Hivers to read the article? **Note that if you are using [Brave browser](https://brave.com/cul397), the tool is blocked from loading. I believe it is because it is loading data/scripts from a 3rd party, and is considered a tracker. So you will have to disable the shields in order to view it.** To do so, simply click on the lion icon and toggle your shields to "off".

I think this tool is a good start. I hope to see @peakd eventually allow us to track the view counts of our articles on a longer time frame. It will also be nice to start seeing that counter appearing on each of our article. So what is your most viewed article and do you like this new tool? Leave a comment and let me know. ---
***This article is created on the [Hive blockchain](https://hive.io/), an immutable and censorship-resistant content platform. 20% of post rewards goes to @ph-fund and 5% goes to @peakd to support these amazing projects.***
