He presides over the beginning and ending of conflict, he is the master of war and peace. He has watched mankind from the beginning of time and will watch until the end.

## Donald Trump vs? The Deep State
</center>

**The current conflict between the President of the United State, Donald Trump and the Deep State is one fraught with difficulties, the most significant of which is the lack of insider information.** If this conflict is real or Kabuki theater is difficult to determine and thus both possibilities will be considered based on publically available information and my own thoughts on the matter. This is a contribution to the [InformationWar Writing Contest](https://steemit.com/informationwar/@stevescoins/informationwar-writing-contest-first-week-of-june-5sbd-1st-prize-3-sbd-for-2nd-and-2-sbd-for-3rd).

For the following discussion, it is first necessary to formulate a definition of 'Deep State' that is serviceable for both sides of the debate. I propose a simple and functional definition. **"_Deep State_ (n): a stable cadre of unelected career officials who manage the bureaucratic structures of the state over multiple administrations."** Note that this does not attribute positive or negative characteristics.

Thus the Deep State can be compared to the permanent crew of a ship. The administration that is elected into office in the form of the POTUS is "merely" a new ship's captain. Regardless of what the captain orders, unless the crew performs its functions as intended, the ship is essentially under the control of the crew. **Often overlooked is the fact that there are generally factions among the crew...**

## If the Trump vs. Deep State Conflict is Grand Kabuki

Realizing its preferred candidate of Hillary Clinton was unelectable, the banking cabals established Donald Trump as the "candidate of the resistance". Via back-channels, the banking cabals secretly funded Trump's candidacy while making it appear otherwise. **Trump's calls to 'drain the swamp' were merely populist demagoguery and grand kabuki.** 

All debates were carefully orchestrated. Democratic party ineptitude and corruption was intentionally revealed. Criminal actions of the prior administration were aired to solidify support for Trump. Clinton's caterwauling to blame everybody but herself for her loss is designed to distract the population from the fact it voted exactly as it was supposed to.

By installing Trump as the "resistance" candidate, the Deep State and its globalist bankster controllers can accelerate the upward transfer of wealth. **Further social destabilization via propaganda and a divisive hawkish POTUS enables the escalation of the police state and an increase in military-industrial profits both at home and abroad.**

By isolating itself politically and economically from the rest of the world, the seat of global monetary power can be shifted to regions with more "hospitable" governments. The **collapse of the petrodollar and subsequent hyperinflation** when USD debt is liquidated by foreign creditors can be blamed on populism. **This will lead to bail-ins in the west and serve as propaganda for global governance.** 

When the hyperinflationary unwind of the USD transpires, pensions will vanish, the population will riot and starvation is a very real danger. Such a state of affairs may lead to the institution of **martial law which would be the _coup de grace_ for the American experiment in freedom. Bankster techno-feudal corporatism can be ushered in as the solution to the largest economic collapse in history.**

In this model, Trump is a willing fall-guy to take the blame for the coming planned demolition of the American economy and "unfortunate but necessary" deconstruction of the constitutional republic. **The Trump vs. Deep State war is merely grand kabuki on the public stage, while in reality a cabal of fanatical globalists prepare to make the ultimate sacrifice to bring in global governance.**

## If the Trump vs. Deep State Conflict is Real

Seizing upon popular dissatisfaction with blatant corruption in government and the ever-increasing restrictions of personal freedoms, Donald Trump campaigned for President of the United States on a platform that promised to "drain the swamp". **The 'swamp' Trump was referring to is the Deep State populated with individuals acting against the interests of the American people.** 

**This was an easy argument for Trump to make because obviously criminal behavior on the part of countless politicians over multiple administrations remained unpunished.** Additionally, any American with an inkling of the founding documents could see that the rule of law has been undermined by a political establishment that has grown rich as the rest of the country was bled dry.

**By providing a term that collectively named the bad actors in government, Trump identified those who wished to remain anonymous and unaccountable.** These individuals were essentially a cadre of traitorous Deep State actors that had gained control of the various alphabet intelligence agencies on behalf of globalist interests and were using their influence to usher in global governance.

**Unbeknownst to the traitorous Deep State, a loyalist faction comprised primarily of military intelligence and white hats in the alphabet agencies had been waiting for an opportunity to return to Constitutional governance.** Trump was in effect their last chance at peaceful restoration of the republic before a military coup would be enacted. With his election they have footing to act.

**The Trump vs. Deep State conflict as it is being played out now is being provided with a playbook for loyalists in the general population under the guise of "Qanon".** Qanon uses the Socratic method to reveal the full extent of the corruption and depravity of the Deep State funded by globalist banking cartel and the politicians it has captured via bribery, extortion, blackmail etc. 

**In essence, the Trump vs. Deep State conflict is really a civil war within the Deep State. The loyalist faction, spearheaded by military intelligence, has an ally in the executive office. The traitorous faction has unlimited funding from globalist banking cartels working towards erecting an omnipotent techno-feudalist corporatocracy. The fate of human civilization currently hangs in the balance.**

## Prediction

The reference to the ancient Roman god Janus prefaced this submission because, regardless which of the two options above seems most reasonable to the reader, **we are at the cusp to a new chapter in the American saga.** Janus is indeed watching, for we are witnessing the end of over a century of slow collapse and the laying of the foundation for what shall come. It is both a fearful and hopeful time.

I personally hope that the war between Trump and the Deep State is real in the manner that I have described above. **This would mean that the battle has not yet been decided, it means we are in the midst of a second American Revolution and the public is unaware.** If everything we are seeing however is Kabuki, then the American dream is already dead and we just haven't realized it yet.

I am however optimistic. Not that it won't be ugly, but that in the end, the human spirit will cast off the chains of tyrants and slavers. It is too early yet to know how the current Trump vs. Deep State conflict will end. Regardless of what the banksters and the Deep State choose to believe, if the loyalists in government lose, **the American Dream will not go silently into the long night.**
