How I Changed My Diet and Took Back Control"
I'm glad that after three weeks of changing my diet, I'm finally seeing positive results with my acid reflux issue. I was feeling anxious for a while because it didn’t seem to improve during the first two weeks. However, by the third week, I started noticing significant improvements in my condition. Although it wasn’t very serious, I feel it's something I need to take seriously to prevent it from worsening to a point where I might regret not acting sooner.

I'm not sure if you also believe that our gut health reflects a lot about our overall lifestyle. I never really paid attention to it until recently, when I started experiencing unusual sensations in my diaphragm and throat. I also noticed a post-nasal drip issue, which is said to be linked to high acidity in the digestive system. My GP prescribed some medications to help, but I felt it was also my responsibility to take an active role in ensuring a quick recovery from my gut issues. The gut is one of the most important parts of the body, so I don’t want to take it for granted.

I began trying several remedies as soon as I started the medications. In the first week, I relied mainly on antacids, nasal sprays, and oxytol mouth spray. From the second week onward, I focused more on improving my diet.

At first, having oatmeal for breakfast felt boring compared to enjoying beehoon and kopi—LOL. But eventually, I learned to appreciate a bowl of oatmeal each morning. I started adding healthy toppings to make it more enjoyable. Oatmeal might seem bland at first, but with the right nutritious toppings, it can be transformed in so many tasty ways.

**_Technically, I shouldn’t be eating something this heavy late at night, but I’m considering it a break from my usual diet. This kind of meal just hits the spot after a long day at work. And now, I feel ready to take on tomorrow’s challenges. :)_**
