Weekday Hustle, Weekend Escape
Once again, I’m finding myself in a string of unproductive weekdays when it comes to my creative journey. As much as I don’t want to blame my day job for it, I suppose it’s one of the reasons why my progress in photography and videography—whether through practice or creative walks—has been slower.

The reason I say that is because I’m currently in a phase of my job where I spend most of my time outdoors doing inspections and quality checks on the project I’m handling. I would say this is the best part of the job—seeing the project I’ve been coordinating for months finally come to life. However, it’s also the most exhausting.

I have to leave the comfort of my office desk, roll up my sleeves, and get hands-on with the work alongside the team involved in the project. This phase pushes me to constantly engage with other professionals, collaborate with them, and work through challenges together. The part I enjoy most is formulating solutions after thoroughly analyzing a problem or anticipating potential issues. It’s all about readiness—being prepared for whatever might come our way.

It’s not the most comfortable situation, and I have to endure the challenges that come with it. But despite how difficult it is, the most rewarding part is finally seeing and experiencing the finished product once it’s tested and ready for client inspection. All the struggles and emotions seem to fade away the moment the project is complete—and I hope my teammates feel the same way.

### Thank God it's already Friday!

It truly feels like a blessing that it’s already Friday—I finally get the chance to take a break from work and focus on my creativity. I really enjoy going on photo and video walks. It’s a healthy way for me to disconnect from my day job and enjoy a relaxing weekend. That’s also why I often visit nature parks or places I don’t usually go to—it gives me a chance to experience a different vibe.

Tomorrow, Saturday night, if the weather cooperates, I plan to go on a photo-video walk. I feel like capturing the beauty of the city at night. Then on Sunday, I’ll be visiting another nature park, though I haven’t decided which one yet.

***As I wrap up another week, I’m reminded of how important it is to find balance between work and passion. Even small creative escapes can bring a sense of fulfillment and peace. Here’s to slowing down, exploring more, and staying inspired.***
