4th Quarter Reflection and Hive Goals
I have been on a bit of an *"involuntary hiatus"* for a couple of weeks, mostly related to the fact that *actual work* has been eating most of my available time off the clock.

Whereas I love Hive, this is definitely *not* my job and my efforts here are entirely something I give when I have a few minutes available to do so.

I imagine I am definitely not the only one on Hive in this predicament!

I have also not felt super inspired, thanks to the lackluster Cryptosphere, and lackluster Hive, in particular. We can talk about the fact that the Hive token *"should"* be priced much higher... but the *reality* is that it isn't... and that's what we have to work with.

I am just trying to be patient here. And I am cautiously hopeful that 2025 might be a good year... seems crypto has historically done pretty well the year following a US Presidential election.

Maybe that pattern will hold true for 2025, as well!

## *Small Goals; Small Progress*

I have tended to set very modest goals for myself primarily because I *do* know that I won't have the time to pursue something more ambitious.

But I am also really *grateful* for the fact that Hive allows us to build something in tiny little increments. That's a benefit you won't find, in a great many places.

Anyway, I'm slowly plugging away at the goals I set for Saturday Savers, even though I might end up falling a mile short.

Regardless, it's a good habit to keep up with where we are.

## *BBH and The BBH Project*

One of the Hive initiatives I became a little more interested in this year is **@bradleyarrow's** BBH Project.

BBH holds itself forth to:

> *"Make BBH the most profitable income token on Hive for its holders"*

What I like about it is that it has been around for a while now, and it's originator remains highly active and involved.

Recently, the project started **[its own front end](https://www.thebbhproject.com/)** in the form of a Hive-Engine outpost site, and there is now also a BBH Witness, which I would encourage you to throw a vote at, if you have one free!

All in all, I'd rather support something that's *actively going* than the many half dead ideas that litter the Hive-Engine second layer realm!

## *Fall Weather and Indoor Activities*

I'd like to think that I will have a little more time for this blog as we move into fall, the days get shorter and the weather encourages more *indoor* activities.

We're not exactly on the North Pole here, but the cold rains and winds of the Pacific Northwest don't exactly make for gardening weather!

Of course, it's nice to *say* such things, but quite another to follow through on them. And I must admit that I tend to be a bit *"scattered"* and often interested in *"too many"* things, the *cost* of which is that I tend to lack focus.

So, time will tell..

*Till the next one... Feel free to leave a comment — this IS "social" media, after all!*
