I was thinking about STEEM platform stability. Currently it is only running on x86 system. What do you think about platform weekness ?

As far I know its running only in x86 based servers in cloud. I think this approach has single point of failure.

What about other platforms. Arm, Oracle Sparc, IBM Power ?
If we would extend STEEM to other platforms, we could eliminate these problems.

Is any developer here who know there hardware platforms ?

SSE could be converted to IBM Altivec instructions. With these efforts it would run on IBM platform.

I think these efforts really important for the future of the STEEM platform, because with these developments it will be more resistant to platform vulnerabilities.

There are more approach which aims this direction for Blockchain platform, like in the EEA consortium. 
I think this will be more and more needed as cybersecurity comes much important factor in every developments.

What are your opinions ?
