## Aquí el salmista David mira a Dios como su único refugio, como su ayuda, como su único y suficiente bien.

> ¿Por qué te abates, oh alma mía, Y te turbas dentro de mí? Espera en Dios; porque aún he de alabarle, Salvación mía y Dios mío.

Salmos 42:5


#### David puso de manera coherente su corazón en el señor, echa en Dios como un ancla ante cualquier posible tempestad o tormenta, la vida de quién se refugia en Dios hacia completa satisfacción delante de la presencia de Dios ya que ahí está frente a frente con Dios mismo.


#### Las almas vivas jamás pueden descansar en otro lugar que no sea en las mismas manos del Dios vivo y comparecer ante Dios es el deseo de los justos pero a su vez es el gran terror de los hipócritas no existe nada más penoso que el alma del creyente que no deposita la plena confianza en el señor.

#### En este cuadro no son los placeres de la corte la razón por lo que David estaba afligido, sino el recuerdo de la entrada libre que tenía ante el trono de gracia en la casa de Dios y el deleite que tenía al estar en ella. Existe una cura de la tristeza, cuando el alma se refugia en sí misma se hunde más y más, en cambio si se aferra al poder soberano del Dios todopoderoso y a su promesa puede mantener la mirada por encima de los muros o las grandes olas de las tempestades que enfrente.

#### Nótese que en este presente tenemos un gran apoyo y consuelo en Dios, tenemos grandes causas para llorar por el pecado que nos asedia ah pero recordemos siempre que toda depresión procede de la incredulidad y de la rebeldía de nuestra voluntad por ello debemos esforzarnos en ser creyentes llenos de fe, esta la podemos obtener de la única fuente que es la misma palabra de Dios.
