## Christ came and brought something new, he brought life in abundance for those who believe in him.

> A rod will come out of the trunk of Jesse, and a branch will sprout from its roots.

Isaiah 11:1


##### Christ with respect to royalty had a history that was not only long, but also quite complicated. Let us remember that the people asked for an earthly ruler, not a divine ruler.

> And Samuel spoke all the words of the Lord to the people who had asked him for king. 11 So he said, This is what the king who will reign over you will do: he will take your sons and put them in his chariots and in his horsemen, to run before his chariot; 12 and he will appoint for himself leaders of thousands and leaders of fifties; He will also set them to plow his fields and reap his crops, and to make his weapons of war and the equipment of his chariots. 13 He will also take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and kneaders. 14 He will also take the best of your lands, your vineyards and your olive groves, and give them to his servants. 15 He will tithe your grain and your vineyards, to give to his officials and to his servants. 16 He will take your male and female servants, your best young men, and your donkeys, and with them he will do his work. 17 He will also decimate your flocks, and you will be his servants. 18 And you will cry out on that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourself, but the Lord will not answer you on that day.
19 But the people would not hear the voice of Samuel, and said, No, but there will be a king over us; 20 and we also will be like all the nations, and our king will rule over us, and he will go out before us, and he will make our wars. 21 And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he reported them in the ears of the Lord. 22 And the LORD said to Samuel, Hear his voice, and set a king over them. Then Samuel said to the men of Israel, “Go each one to your city.”

1 Samuel 8:10-22


##### Later King Solomon who took over as king number three because of disobedience disconnected from God and for all this it seemed that the prophecy of Isaiah did not make sense or would not be fulfilled, this royal lineage was arriving in the end. Later God's people had been conquered by his enemies and taken captive. Let us remember that at the time of Jesus Christ King Herod ruled, commanded by Rome, to which everything indicated that the reign of Jesus had died, similar to a lifeless log.

##### In the prophecy of Isaiah it is indicated that life will rise from this dead trunk, the author of this new life is Jesus Christ, the root.

> 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive, and she will give birth to a son, and she will call his name Immanuel. [A]

Isaiah 7:14


##### This new life has been born as a new hope already announced and that some believed was already dead, this new life for the people of God and for the world today.

> 4 In him was life, and life was the light of men.
14 And that Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we saw the glory of him, glory of him as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of him, and cried out, saying, This is he of whom I said, He that cometh after me is before me; because he was first than me. 16 For we all take from the fullness of him, and grace upon grace.

Jn 1.4, 14-16

##### The Lord Jesus Christ brought new life to what was lost and dead, the lineage of Jesse was dead and Jesus Christ revived it, but this has spread to all humanity, to everyone who believes in Jesus, every person of every language and lineage is inserted as a graft to be part of the tree and carry the same fruits to all directions. You and I have been grafted into the vine, it is Jesus Christ who produces life in abundance for all of us.

## Cristo vino y trajo algo nuevo, trajo vida en abundancia para quienes creen en él. 

>  Saldrá una vara del tronco de Isaí, y un vástago retoñará de sus raíces.

Isaías 11:1


##### Cristo con respecto a la realeza tuvo una historia no solamente larga, tambien bastante complicada, recordemos que el pueblo pedía un gobernante terrenal no un gobernante divino. 

> Y refirió Samuel todas las palabras de Jehová al pueblo que le había pedido rey. 11 Dijo, pues: Así hará el rey que reinará sobre vosotros: tomará vuestros hijos, y los pondrá en sus carros y en su gente de a caballo, para que corran delante de su carro; 12 y nombrará para sí jefes de miles y jefes de cincuentenas; los pondrá asimismo a que aren sus campos y sieguen sus mieses, y a que hagan sus armas de guerra y los pertrechos de sus carros. 13 Tomará también a vuestras hijas para que sean perfumadoras, cocineras y amasadoras. 14 Asimismo tomará lo mejor de vuestras tierras, de vuestras viñas y de vuestros olivares, y los dará a sus siervos. 15 Diezmará vuestro grano y vuestras viñas, para dar a sus oficiales y a sus siervos. 16 Tomará vuestros siervos y vuestras siervas, vuestros mejores jóvenes, y vuestros asnos, y con ellos hará sus obras. 17 Diezmará también vuestros rebaños, y seréis sus siervos. 18 Y clamaréis aquel día a causa de vuestro rey que os habréis elegido, mas Jehová no os responderá en aquel día.
19 Pero el pueblo no quiso oír la voz de Samuel, y dijo: No, sino que habrá rey sobre nosotros; 20 y nosotros seremos también como todas las naciones, y nuestro rey nos gobernará, y saldrá delante de nosotros, y hará nuestras guerras. 21 Y oyó Samuel todas las palabras del pueblo, y las refirió en oídos de Jehová. 22 Y Jehová dijo a Samuel: Oye su voz, y pon rey sobre ellos. Entonces dijo Samuel a los varones de Israel: Idos cada uno a vuestra ciudad.

##### Mas tarde el rey Salomón quien asumió como el rey numero tres por causa de la desobediencia se desconectó de Dios y para todo esto parecía que la profecía de de Isaías no tenía sentido o no se cumpliría, este linaje real estaba llegando al final. Mas tarde el pueblo de Dios había sido conquistado por sus enemigos y fue llevado cautivo. Recordemos que en la época de Jesucristo gobernaba el Rey Herodes comandado por Roma a  lo que todo indicaba que el reinado de Jesús  había muerto, similar a un tronco ya sin vida. 

##### En la profecía de Isaías se indica que de este tronco muerto resugirá la vida, el autor de esta nueva vida es Jesucristo, la raíz.

> 14 Por tanto, el Señor mismo os dará señal: He aquí que la virgen concebirá, y dará a luz un hijo, y llamará su nombre Emanuel.[a]

Isaías 7:14


##### Esta vida nueva ha nacido como una nueva esperanza ya anunciada y que algunos creyeron ya muerta, esta nueva vida para el pueblo de Dios y para el mundo actual. 

> 4 En él estaba la vida, y la vida era la luz de los hombres.
14 Y aquel Verbo fue hecho carne, y habitó entre nosotros (y vimos su gloria, gloria como del unigénito del Padre), lleno de gracia y de verdad. 15 Juan dio testimonio de él, y clamó diciendo: Este es de quien yo decía: El que viene después de mí, es antes de mí; porque era primero que yo. 16 Porque de su plenitud tomamos todos, y gracia sobre gracia.

Jn 1.4, 14-16

##### El señor Jesucristo trajo vida nueva a lo que estaba perdido y muerto , el linaje de Isaí estaba muerto y Jesucristo lo revivió, pero esto se ha extendido a toda la humanidad, a todo aquel que cree en Jesús, toda persona de toda lengua y linaje es insertada como un injerto para ser parte del arbol y llevar los mismos frutos a todas las direcciones. Tu y yo hemos sido injertados en la vid, es Jesucristo quien produce vida en abundancia para todos nosotros.
