Welcome to my **Travel Tip** series where I promote some of the most beautiful places, interesting landmarks and impressive architectural sites of my homeland, the **Czech Republic**.

Today, I have something special for you as I will take you to the largest and most complex exhibition of mummies in the world, a renowned exhibition known as **Mummies of the World**.

Held at the **Prague Exhibition Grounds** in **Prague-Holesovice**, Mummies of the World is a unique exhibition of mummies and many other interesting artifacts that were loaned from a number of museums, private collections, scientific organizations and universities all over the world. 

The exhibition provides a unique insight into the ancient world, showing the visitors how people lived in different countries and eras. Not surprisingly, however, the event particularly focuses on funerals and burial rituals from around the world so it might not be the best place to take young children.

The exhibition started in February and it will last until June so you still have some time to arrange your trip to Prague not to miss out on it. Mummies of the World is open daily from 9 AM to 8 PM and the tour usually takes about 1.5 hour. The basic entrance fee is 320 CZK (13 EUR/15 USD) per person, the reduced fee (for students, retired people etc.) is 200 CZK (9 EUR/10 USD).
