Araya Peninsula. The Araya peninsula is located in the Sucre state, north of Cumaná Venezuela, it is an arid and dry place, as well as world famous for its salt flats. It has great tourist potential thanks to its beautiful beaches and the old Spanish fortress located next to the beaches. This image is in the vicinity of the salt mines.
