Well now that's a reality with the Mi.Mu gloves, a project that came to life from the mega-talented Imogen Heap.

These musical gloves are composed of a blend of textiles, sensors, communication devices, and software that can detect hand posture & gestures.

Currently these are being produced in small batches and are not available for sale, but both Imogen Heap and Ariana Grande have already validated the pure magic that you harness with these.
