<center>  <center>  # More of the same, but is that a bad thing ๐ค It's already a well-known fact that MWIII is a quickly put-together release that was actually going to be DLC for MWII. MWII wasn't a terrible COD game, but the community had a lot of complaints about certain aspects of the game. Instead of making it a 2-year COD like they originally planned to, Activision has switched back into regular release mode. At least they're claiming this is a new COD. MWIII is different than MWII, but barely. The menus look the same. Weapons, camos, and operators carry over from MWII. There are even going to be MWII maps added to MWIII. The main difference is that the gameplay is slightly quicker. You can slide/reload cancel again, not sure why that was ever taken out in the first place. The time to kill is longer, instead of operators having 100 health, they now have 150. This is especially noticeable at long range. All of the maps are remakes of 2009's Modern Warfare 2. It's probably obvious at this point that this isn't truly a full release. With that said, I'm still having an absolute blast with MWIII multiplayer. Even though the community is getting screwed in some ways, the general gameplay is just about the best it has ever been in COD. I have one major complaint with multiplayer though and that is the introduction of Armory Unlocks. No longer will you unlock everything simply by leveling up. No, of course not. They had to complicate things in order to extend the shelf life of the game. Now you will be required to complete daily challenges in order to earn tokens which you can then use to unlock what you want when you want. The Armory doesn't unlock until level 25 and once it does daily challenges often screw you over. For instance, on my first day, I had two challenges that were impossible to complete. The first was an LMG challenge that had a bug that wasn't registering my kills. The other was tasking me with getting kills with a weapon that I had yet to unlock. So basically despite the fact that I got to almost level 30 on day one, I still have yet to unlock one single item from the armory. There are so many things that are absolutely crucial to my gameplay style that are locked in the armory. I absolutely hate this feature and I really hope the community sounding off about it will encourage them to change how this works. I could go on and on about the good and bad things that MWIII brings to the table. I plan to do another video in the future talking more specifically about the things I love and hate about this year's multiplayer. For now, though, I've got a gameplay video of one of my early matches of MWIII. Warning, I did not do very well in this match, but this is one of my favorite maps and I had to share this video.
