The gameplay is devastatingly challenging and rewards are not something that is handed out for your achievements. You are alone in this strange alien world and my goodness does the place look gorgeous. I am more than happy to die just to start again in such a mesmerizing place. I am getting the hang of the gameplay and love how everything feels. This is a top-quality game and playing it truly feels next-gen. I have been blown away by what they have done with the DualSense controller in Returnal. I can feel rain droplets falling in my hands and all of the actions have precise haptics that increases the immersion in this dark world to seriously high levels of realism. I have a feeling it is going to take me several cycles to actually make serious progress into the different biomes in Returnal, but I'm more than willing to put in that work.
