<liketuimages> <center> </center> </liketuimages> My new [BaldiePro skull shaver arrived from Groomie](https://www.groomie.club/pages/limited1?utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=19646377381&utm_content=146689269318&utm_term=groomie&gadid=647446891633&gclid=Cj0KCQiAjbagBhD3ARIsANRrqEtUeXmv4_wz9vRXkMldgOH22-gPk6S6bLOCIuYi6DS2xmP-Q5_aBkoaAuKMEALw_wcB) and I decided it was finally time to shave every bit of hair off of my head. I was already so close to being totally bald, so I figured I might as well just go all the way and see what it looked like. I am actually pleased with how it turned out and am happy to report that I do not have an ugly head. No wrinkles, indentions, or giant moles. Just smooth skin and a big brain. The process of shaving bald for the first time honestly wasn't like I expected. I was assuming that the electric skull shaver would get the job done easily, but it wasn't quite like that. It did work for the most part, but it just wasn't working exactly how I envisioned it. Perhaps I just haven't figured out the perfect technique yet. I'm not giving up on it totally. I did however have to pull out a multi-blade razor to clean up a few remaining hairs. I was shocked at how much easier the razor was to use. I will definitely be doing that again, but I'm not sure how often just yet. It's pretty insane how smooth my head feels. Although I'm not really a fan of the feeling of the hair growing back. My head feels like sandpaper the morning after and I don't think anybody is going to want to rub on that. No more head scratches for me. It is not easy to see the back and sides of your head without a bunch of mirrors. I have only one mirror in my bathroom and then rely on my phone's camera to inspect the parts of my head that I'm unable to see in the mirror. You can also just feel the remaining hair with your hands, but I like to see it just to make sure I'm not walking around with a random chunk of hair on the back of my head. Now that I've gotten the hair down to nothing, I think future shaves will be much easier. Even without a guard, my clippers can only get it so short. I think the reason my skull shaver struggled a bit is that my hair was too long. That's obviously no longer a problem and as long as I do it regularly, I should have an easier time getting it shaved. I can't say yet whether I recommend a skull shaver because I still have a lot of testing to do. I will say however that if you're close to being bald, maybe you should just go ahead and take that leap to see what you look like without hair. You may be like me and love how you look. Let me know what you think of my new look. I am officially part of the bald head and beard gang. --- For the best experience view this post on [Liketu](https://liketu.com/@daltono/i-finally-shaved-my-head-bald-for-the-very-first-time)
