<center> <center> # Back at Charleston High-End yet again ๐ซ You'd think with my car being in the shop last month a total of 4 times, it would either be fixed or I'd have gotten rid of it by now. Neither is the case I guess. Although my car didn't break down on me and has been driving great since I got it back, something happened Saturday night that startled me and caused me to bring the car back to my favorite shop. I'm sure they will be happy to see my car yet again and take more of my money, but I also know a part of them feels for me having so many issues here lately. Sympathy does nothing for me though and I just want to be able to drive again. So this is what happened that caused me to feel the need to drop the car off with them again. When I've been starting the car here lately, it sounds like the car has a tough time breathing for the first 10-15 seconds. It was nothing major, but something I definitely noticed. I tried my best to ignore this in hopes of my car just continuing to chug on. Saturday night I had just finished loading up my car with a bunch of groceries. I was about to leave the store and drop off an order to one of my Instacart customers. When I tried to start my car, it tried to turn over, but it didn't. I was like oh shit, please don't let this thing be broken down. I then tried a second time and although the car did struggle to get going, it did at least start and I was able to make my delivery. I didn't turn my car off when I got there and as soon as I left I went straight to Charleston High-End. When I arrived at the shop, there were actually a couple of guys there despite the place being closed on the weekend. One guy was just sitting in his Mercedes and the other dude pulled in just after me. The second guy walked right up to me and started praising me for my car. He said he sees me around town all of the time and he and his girlfriend both love my car tremendously. I thanked him and we continued to chat. He showed me pictures of his Jeep that he had just totaled thanks to some black ice. I felt for the guy because I know how much it sucks to total a car that you love. Shortly after the other guy got out of his car and walked up to us. Turns out the two guys were friends and the one that was sitting in the Mercedes actually works at the shop. They were about to go into the garage and work on cars together. I assume the worker was getting paid, but I have a feeling the other guy was doing it just because he loved working on cars and hanging out with his friend. I left my keys with the worker and he said they'd have a look at it Monday morning when the Audi specialist was in. As I was about to start my mile walk home in the freezing cold, the one kid that didn't work there insisted that he drive me home. I was hesitant to accept at first because I hate to burden anybody, but he was more than happy to help. I felt so lucky to have run into those guys. On the drive home, we started talking about my car more. Once I told him that I'd sell it for only $5,000, his eyes lit up. He was interested right away and didn't mind mechanical problems since he enjoys working on cars. It was a short 3-minute drive home instead of a 20-minute walk. His name was Mitchell and I thanked him once more for his kindness. I made sure to get his phone number in case he was actually serious about buying my car. I'd sure love to be able to sell it privately rather than trade it in at a dealership and get half of what it's worth if I'm lucky. I have a feeling I'm going to need a new starter. It's either that or maybe there is a rotted wire connecting to the starter. I don't know enough about car mechanics to be able to determine what exactly it is. I know the shop will have an answer swiftly though. I don't look forward to the bill, but I'll just suck it up and accept what needs to be done. I'll end this blog with a beautiful sunset photo of my car that I took one evening last week. I am amazed that this thing is still so gorgeous after 10 years of me driving it. It's 2009, but I get compliments on it frequently like it's a 2023 model fresh off the lot. I'm so lucky to have such an awesome car and I look forward to finally figuring out what my next car will be. I'm patient as always and know it'll all work out soon enough. I'll be sure to update again as soon as I know something else. - - - - - - - - - [](https://peakd.com/hive-189689/@daltono/ruvyomyx) |Join my fanbase on hive.vote โ โ๏ธ| My YouTube Channel ๐ฅ| Create a free Hive account ๐ฝ | Follow me on Twitter ๐ฃ๐ฆ | |-|-|-|-| |[click here](https://hive.vote/dash.php?i=2&fan=daltono)|[click here](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSDIuj7zRki60IZE4SvsHcw)|[click here](https://peakd.com/register?ref=daltono)|[click here](https://mobile.twitter.com/daltonoHive)| [Join my curation trail to maximize your curation earning percentage without having to delegate](https://hive.vote/dash.php?trail=daltono&i=1) <div class="phishy"> **Discord: Daltono#5080** </div> </center>
