# Here we go again 👾

I am amazed at how different Returnal is to most games. It feels like an excellent blend of creepy third-person action, roguelike elements, and classic arcade games. Let me explain that last part. The way the enemy's shots travel towards you reminds me of a game like Galaga, where you must move out of the way of a line of incoming bullets. I am surprised that it took so long for arcade-style shooters to evolve into a 3D game like Returnal. Maybe something similar has been done before, but I do not think any game has done it anywhere close to as good as Returnal. 

I am starting a new cycle yet again to see if I can proceed any further in this first biome. I learn great lessons every time that I die. I haven't experienced any real tutorials, so I am figuring things out as I go, and often times I fail before I fully understand a certain gameplay mechanic. It's brutal and would frustrate most people, but Returnal is bringing out my love to endure pain. 

I am looking forward to picking up some more suit upgrades that will allow me to explore certain areas that I currently am not able to access. Although the game is procedurally generated, each biome will remain somewhat familiar. Similar rooms will appear in different locations each time and what is inside of each location will certainly be different during each cycle. You will find remnants of your former self which slowly explains more of what is actually going on.

I cannot get enough of this game. I knew it was going to be good but wasn't sure it would be for me. I am loving how everything works in Returnal, it is just so well done. If you are lucky enough to have a PS5, you have got to give this one a try.
