The <a href="/trending/minnowsupportproject"> #minnowsupportproject</a> helped me and I want to help others. </p> <h1>Edition #15</h1> <p>This week's edition featured a post from an excellent photographer and Steemit newcomer, @brandongarrett. We had two different themes this week, one was of course linked to photography, the other was Steemit Introductions and newbie help, how to best help someone like Brandon starting their Steemit Adventure.</p> <p>New for edition #15 was the beginning of a partnership with @davemccoy. Dave is running an initiative called #newbieresteemday, where he encourages participation and provides advice to Steemit newbies. This challenge is one of the activities he recommends to his followers. As writing great comments is a very important aspect of becoming successful on Steemit, what better challenge to join than this. :) We had an enormous influx of new contestants this week, very happy to see that. Thanks Dave for the work you did on your end, and big thanks to all the participants! </p> <p>To show my appreciation to Dave and all the new people he brought in, I got together some decent upvotes for each comment this week. I normally vote 5% with my own account for each confirmed entry, but in addition, I also voted with my bot account, @dorabot. In total each comment should have averaged around $0.20. </p> <p><b>This week's Judge: @danielsaori</b></p> <p>I was without help again this week and had to do all the screening and judging myself. 😃 We had plenty of contestants and several of them received multiple votes.
