I had always been interested in farming, especially maize, because it’s one of the most widely consumed and useful crops in my area. Even though I didn’t have much money or equipment, I believed in starting small and growing with consistently In the first week, I cleared a small part of the land by using cutlass. The work was hard and tiring, but I by the help of my brother the work was done faster. I burnt the bushes and add the ashes to the soil because I cannot afford fertilizer at that time.l used my hoe to till the soil manually. The planting began, I plant my corn seeds which carefully saved up for. After planting, I prayed for good rain and hopefully, the rains falls. I weed the grasses regularly, using my weeding hoe and cutlass . just to make sure the crops grow healthy and strong. I watched my farm crops regulary because of the Animals that eat corn leaves and prevent them not to enter my farm, animal like cow, sheep and goat. Also watch maize grow from tiny sprouts to tall green stalks, Now, it has grown up two months old, the maize plants are standing tall. The leaves are wide and healthy, and I can already see the early signs of cobs forming. The journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced pests, sun, and some set In the next one month time I will be thinking of how to harvest my crops from My farm, I think it's coming to the stage were all My labour just to make sure that my farm crops are good will be seen.well am excited because God has been helping me, from the day I started clearing the land,And now is two months old now God is great, and I pray to harvest My farm crop. What I started small is now growing into something bigger. This small beginning has shown me that with faith, effort, and patience, anything is possible. By three months’ time, I’ll be harvesting the fruits of my hard work and this is just the beginning of my maize farming journey by God grace I'll haverst my maize farm with Joy and gladness </div>
