Meeting Dr. Ron Paul was not a significant event in my life, although it should feel like it.

First let me say, Dr. Paul is an amazing individual and I am absolutely thrilled that I had not only the chance to be photographed with him along with peers in the comunity who I look up to and respect, but I also had the opportunity to ask @RonPaul a few questions in the green room.

Truly remarkable experience; but somehow I found that I don't really care enough about those things. Thousands of people line up to met Dr. Paul, and seldom get the chance to be photographed with him, yet alone ask him some serious and up front questions like "how do you feel about your message, 'as a politician' leading many people to Anarchy? His response was a typical one that people should have the right to do what they choose with their lives including participate in government. The same thing he said to my friend @derrickbroze when he asked how he felt about expiating away from the United States.

Ron Paul is a liberty advocate and a crusader for justice truly, but he is also a statist, a nationalist, a politician, and while it's an incredible experience to share the same room with him and some of the hardest working, and accomplished members of the alternative media community, It still lacks the reward - accomplishment feeling that I thought I would experience in such an event.

A life accomplishment sure but in emotional gratification it pales in comparison to making real change in the world. When a truther meme I make goes mega viral, when a video is shared by someone popular, when I send crypto to a poor young man in Gambia, or the look on the face of the Mexican boy who was chopping coconuts when I slid him a 20$. Helping baby turtles get into the ocean. Lately I have learned that the greatest joys I can obtain come from creating the largest amount of happiness and love on this planet that I can.

Besides who is this goon anyways? I'm Just consciousness in a body with much more to offer the world than sneaking back stage to get my photo taken. Follow my work at thetruther.us @dannyquest on Steemit. TheTru27
