**Introduction:**

I am reviewing this project from my brand new laptop which I have received today. I have ordered it from Amazon and it has travelled around six hundred miles cross country to reach my address. It took around 3 days to complete the journey from the company's warehouse to my personal address. I requested the delivery to be made in the evening as I am usually back at my home by evening.

Now you might be wondering what has this got to do with the topic under discussion? Well, first of all let me tell you that the world e-commerce industry is a trillion dollars industry and is expected to grow exponentially in the coming years. As more and more people are shifting from brick and mortar based shopping to online based shopping from the convenience of their homes or offices, the onus lies on the shipping and packing organization to transport the ordered items safely from warehouse to the shipping address of the user. This is probably the most important part of the logistics involved for shipping of items. In recent times, owing to the growing demand for online ordering, last mile delivery of items has become a very complex task.

**The Problem:**

The e-commerce industry has improved a lot in the last few years. The efficiency of delivering the products has increased over the years. Operational costs have come down and online based marketplaces are seeing large percentage of profits. However the problem of last mile delivery still hurts the e-commerce industry. Problems such as theft of products, non availability of the user during delivery attempt and delay in delivery cripple the E-commerce logistics department. The need of the hour is an efficient system that can manage last mile delivery of orders after eliminating underlying problems.

**The Solution:**

The Nextpakk Project aims to revolutionize the last mile delivery system for online orders. It has proposed a crowdsourcing solution to this problem. Any rider who is passing by a place next to the user's residence can deliver the item, according to the user's specified time and date. This can result in savings to the tune of millions of dollars for e-commerce operators. The project proposes to incentivize all the stakeholders involved in the delivery process -- the rider as well as the receiver to ensure a smooth and fast delivery process. This is truly a revolutionary and welcoming move for the entire E-commerce industry and promises to take the industry into all new heights.

**The team and the ICO:**

The Nextpakk team aims to fund the initial development, maintenance and general marketing and outreach of the platform through an Initial Coin Offering (ICO). Investors can buy the Pakka token by participating in the Initial Coin Offering. The token will be used for all the transactions performed on the platform. Investors can even exchange the token for other cryptocurrencies through major exchanges.

The team leading the project has multiple years of experience across various domains. The board of advisors to the project are top executives of multinational companies. The team is more than capable to pull this off successfully.

**Conclusion:**

Internet has changed our lives forever. Innovation has been the buzzword ever since the advent of the World Wide Web. One of the most beautiful creations based on the internet is the E-commerce industry. It has forever changed the way we shop and check out items before buying. However, the delivery of products to the buyer's home accounts for a high percentage of cost for the e-commerce company. Much progress has been made throughout the years, but no long term solution has been found out for this issue - till now.

The Nextpakk project will revolutionize how deliveries happen and the logistics involved for last mile deliveries. I personally believe that this project will transform the industry forever. It is a much awaited change that will propel the E-commerce industry to all new heights. I trust the team can easily pull this off, given their level of expertise in the domain. Without an iota of doubt the Nextpakk project is surely going to be on the list of the top blockchain based projects of 2018!
