3 B&W Images shot with a 6x7 Medium Format Mamiya Film Camera - My Own Works

I had a few hours to walk around and shot a couple rolls of 6x7 film using my friends Mamiya.

These pictures are my own work. I shot the film and developed it myself. What you see here are scans of the negatives. My scanner is of average quality I still think they came through alright. These have yet to be printed on paper and this is their first time spent online.

They were shot under the new 35w freeway bridge in Minneapolis. The original bridge as you may remember collapsed into the Mississippi river. The area where the bridge is located is one very gorgeous place and it was a very beautiful day but I was interested in the area under the bridge for some reason. It is stark under the bridge, in light of this I worked to capture some of the odd, lonely beauty-shapes-shadows also there.

I hope you enjoy their simplicity and the film grain effects.

Peace
