Cosmos created; Tesla, Edison and a beautiful photographic cosmos

A cosmos is created. My own images and they are not manipulated. They are a collaboration between Edison, Tesla and myself.

Two weeks ago, I was in Telluride Colorado, a gorgeous place of mountains and a valley high up in the air. In this lush place, Tesla had lived and established electricity in town. It was one of the first in the world with such a system. Last night I was driving through Colorado on my way to Denver in a thunder storm. The electricity in the air was palpable and I witnessed some amazing lighting flashes along the drive. I couldn't help but be reminder of the Tesla coil. Arriving at my Airbnb, the first thing I noticed in my room was a lamp with a beautiful old Edison bulb. Taking note of all of these recent events, thank you Mr. Tesla for the AC current electrical system and thank you Mr. Edison for the sweet looking light bulb.

My fish eye lens just arrived in the mail. It is a really cool toy. Night had fallen and I took a little time to play with it for the first time.

Inspired by some work I had done in the past I photographed some objects in a glass container in a dark room.

The title image is of a "Edison" bulb in a glass container and photographed up close with the 180 degree view of the fish eye lens.*

An alien, electric and alive cosmos was created.

Slight, millimeter shifts of the camera altered the resulting image in some interesting ways. An analogy to how a new entire universe may be created with a simple twist of perspective.

I have included a few here.

In a time not distant, it will be possible to flash any image formed in thought on a screen and render it visible at any place desired. The perfection of this means of reading thought will create a revolution for the better in all our social relations.- Nikola Tesla

*About the lens used; It attaches to my micro four thirds digital camera and the lens itself is all manual. You set the aperture and focus manually. It is very cool.
