<p> A series of colorful photographic images shot while walking the edges of the beaten path in urban spaces.</p>
<p>I love living in urban spaces and often walk slowly with an eye for the subtle details. I do this often with or without my camera. When I do chose to make a photograph I work to keep it very simple and at the same time beautiful.</p>
<p>The images I show below are the first chapter in a longer series of images and are meant to be seen together. Not seen together in a linear way, instead seen as connected more like a web. Like a lot of my work these images are not bombastic or grandiose, instead they are subtle and compelling in the small details and perspectives.</p>
<p>While the series is not only about urban decay, I find this to be a central theme and within this theme there is a type of weathered beauty that deeply intrigues me.</p>
<p>The images were shot with a proper camera, not cell phone. Don't let their simplicity fool you, this represents quite a large amount of effort . <p>To paraphrase Andy Goldsworthy; All the work goes into making it look effortless.<p>
