Normally we think of redbull, cigarettes and whiskey. The three causes of suffering, are greed, aversion, and ignorance.

When you live your life, cautiously observe what emotions and thoughts arise. Too much of one is dangerous, but two is trouble. Three will ruin you, temper your passions. Sooth your mind, control your thoughts, and set things right. 

See the truth and know thyself, give up illusions and Deception, live clearly in the light of knowing. Clean up your home and prepare for emergencies. Fires, power outages, flooding, extreme winds. This world is fierce and we must be strong and clever to survive, or thrive.

Yep this is the way. Greed will make you poor. Aversion will make you distrusting. Ignorance will take everything away. That's my take. Fortunately there is a path to the end of suffering. And that is good news.
