In the middle of a lagoon, three lazy toads were standing on a leaf, waiting for the wind to take them to the shore, because they did not want to swim on their own; but the wind blew, taking them in the opposite direction, more to the center of the great lagoon. One of the toads told the other two:
- I decided to jump!

## Question:
How many toads are left standing on the leaf? The answer is "3" (three).
Because: "From the saying to the fact, there is a lot of distance".
All the decisions you make in your life require "Action". You will notice very interesting the original meaning of the word "Action"; it comes from a derivation of the verb Latin "Aguere", which means "to put in movement", that at the same time, arises from the Greek "Ago" and is translated as "Driving or Guiding".
"Ago", in turn, is a derivation of the Greek word "Agón", which means "Meeting" or "Encuentro".
This is powerful! A single word: "Action", is giving us an extraordinary conception:
"It's about setting our goals in motion and leading them towards the encounter or materialization with what has been planned."
Do you know how many people in the world "TAKE THE DECISION"; but NEVER carry it out?
When I was working as head of migration, recently arrived, some captains asked me:

- Are you Latin American Girls? (Are you a girl from Latin America?
Obviously, the answer was affirmative.
And whoever asked me, exclaimed smiling: - Hey !!! ... Tomorrow ... Tomorrow ... !!! (He did it because he had to give Venezuela entry, permission to disembark, and they were anxious, they did not always want to wait to meet the prerequisites).
He was telling me that Latin Americans, in general, say "tomorrow" for everything:
"Tomorrow" I do it; for "tomorrow" I have it ready; "right now"; "almost"…
This is an obvious example of the "fame" we have in a large part of the world.

Certainly we make decisions that we do not fulfill or that we rarely take to ACTION.
I read an article a while ago, which began with this account of my imagination, which describes, like a glove, this idea:
Once, the "Lady Mediocrity" and the "Lord Conformism", made the important decision to get up early in the morning, with the purpose of making the greatest effort to realize their dreams. That night, they put their alarm clock at a very early hour, in order to have enough time to plan their goals and objectives. At the appointed time, the alarm went off, rang and rang, until the Lady Mediocrity, very asleep, turned it off. Muttering, he said:
- What laziness ... Get up so early to do something that we do not even know if it will really give us results ...
Her husband, Mr. Conformism, added:
- You're always right, dear. We are fine as we are ... In addition, the bed is so tasty ... And the two continued to sleep.
I say it for the second time:
"FROM THE SAME TO THE FACT, THERE IS A LOT OF TRY".
I want you to realize how difficult it is for many people, two things:
1) Make decisions.
2) Carry out the decisions made.
Decision making can be defined as the choice made to give direction to certain actions.
"Decide" is a word from the Latin verb "Dedidére" which means "separate", "cut". It is a composition of "De" or "dis", which connotes "separation" and "Caedére", which can be translated as "Break", "cut", "cut". Making decisions, requires cutting with those cords that bind us, that do not allow us to move forward.
Now, when we make decisions, we are supposed to be ready for action ... but not. It's like we decided to free ourselves
of the ties and at the time of cutting, we prefer to stay stopped in the middle of the road, to move towards growth
in some sense.

Do you have any idea of the number of people in the world who have decided to leave a certain situation; But in the end, end up more sunk than before, for not taking action, such decisions?
I give you some examples:
- Women who are mistreated by their partners, beaten, abused ... and continue in that sick relationship, just because they have afraid to stay alone.
- Workers who are frustrated by not doing what they love and want, because they are afraid that they will not do well with their own projects.
- Young people and adults who remain in places of perdition, such as drugs, alcohol, promiscuity and prostitution, because they feel weak and without other constructive alternatives, to walk on paths of peace and spirituality.
The problem of "making decisions" is that, in order for them to be carried out, it is necessary to SET GOALS AND OBJECTIVES and develop the WILL to put them into action.
Making decisions is not the end of a process. We must give action to the chosen. Now, by taking decisions to action, you
must focus on the majority of the factors or aspects of its implementation, for the purpose that these actions are effective, since in many cases, unforeseen situations arise. It is important that you have the determination about everything you undertake, so that it works as well as possible for your benefit and that of your environment.
It is valid to consider the learning that the errors give you, because the fact of carrying out the decisions, involves collecting experiences in the process. You and we are all immersed in a wheel in motion called "life" and, in this wheel, decisions are made every day.
As soon as you wake up in the day, make the decision, conscious or not, of how you want your journey to be. Make decisions for the clothes that are going to wear. Decide if you will have coffee or not. Make decisions if you go to work or stay at home ...
You must be very aware of the decisions that will lead to the action; because we have all experienced, once, the
make decisions that cost us dearly; or we do not make the decisions we want.
Among the recommendations to take their decisions to action, I mention the following:

- Do not leave for tomorrow, what you can do today.
- Dare to experience new challenges in your life.
- Be deaf, do what your heart asks you to do. Many times the people who are at his side, are those who discourage him from performing your goals and objectives ... And they can "convince" you.
- Believe in that You can achieve it.
- Do not be distracted by excuses.
- Align yourself with people who can help you implement your decisions.
- Try to give a little more of the "ordinary" ... that is, advance an "extra mile".
- Make Excellence a habit of life. To achieve what you propose, requires your dedication and discipline. The fact of
set goals and objectives, to be very clear about what you want for your life, to ask yourself why you want to obtain them, what are the values that guide the desire to achieve them and when you want to achieve it; will make it possible to visualize obtaining those things that it was proposed to achieve.
The INSENSATÉZ, is to believe that doing the same thing, they will get different things. If your life is "always the same", it's because you're doing "the same as always.

Know how to give your best in everything you do and let God put the results. God always prospers us when we do things with excellence, and when these things we do, we do them correctly; even when nobody observes us.

## EXERCISE:
This task will allow you to define what you want to achieve in your life.
a) Take a notebook and write the title "MY GOALS AND OBJECTIVES for my next 5 years".
b) Next, you will define what you want to achieve in these first 5 years, in each of the following areas:
1) Relations.
2) Health.
3) Work / Profession.
4) Intellectual Development.
5) Heritage and Finance.
6) Superior Purpose / My Footprint.
c) Write down each of the goals and objectives in detail. You must define them in the minute details.

**Ask yourself the following questions:**

- What are those decisions that I have not taken to action in my life?
- What does that inner voice say, that does not let me take action on what I want to do?
- What excuses do I put or argument to not do what I want to do?
- Between the excuses, I put the lack of time to do what I want to do?
- In what waste that valuable time, which is not allowing me to do what I want?
- I prefer the bad known that the "good to know?
- Do I feel good like I am?
- What do I earn without doing?
- What do I lose by not doing what I have decided to do?
- I'm afraid to make mistakes?
