...We explore space in search of answers, but sometimes we only find more questions. I'm Dr. Dana Dwitt and I'll tell you the story of the EX-A2542 exploration.

<center><h1>Chapter II - Reborn </h1></center>

The EX-A2542 spacecraft traversed the universe at high speed, making controlled quantum leaps to previously explored and secure coordinates.

When I was a little girl I understood how spaceships managed to surpass the speed of light hundreds of times, thanks to the quantum leap, and thus reach their destinations in a relatively short time. I was terrified of being able to jump to the center of a star or very close to a black hole by mistake, but later I understood that because the universe is so empty, it is hundreds of times more likely to die in an aircar crash. And it is already very unlikely that something like this will happen.

However, there have been known cases where explorer spacecraft disappear into the vastness of space without any communication, so that for several years previously explored coordinates have been used to jump towards them and be able to unfold space-time in a... secure way?

Human beings do not tolerate quantum leap, our minds do not support it, that is why suspended animation is necessary, otherwise, we would lose our sanity during the displacement. It is also necessary to have competent AI, androids in charge of the maintenance of the ship, its crew, and course.

The EX-A2542 had reached the limits of the explored universe, I woke up feeling that I was drowning, until I vomited in the container that unfolded in front of me, I felt very dizzy, stunned and even nauseous after having expelled the LCL from my interior, slowly I began to recognize the silhouette in front of me.

"Deep Breathe," Doc ordered me as he scanned my vital signs through a violet beam of light flashing from his eyes.

"Am I going to die, Doc?" I asked him, he was really agonizing.

Doc burst out laughing, androids behaving like humans "Don't be naive, you'll be fine, just stay inside until you feel better" then he left me alone in my hibernation capsule.

A warm steam began to fill the chamber, it was nice to breathe it, I felt as if I was breathing fresh air but at a slightly higher temperature, my body was warming up little by little. Suddenly a new container unfolded in front of me, I violently poured my vomit into it, then I could feel more relieved, the dizziness was a little more bearable. The connectors of my synaptic suit detached from the capsule allowing me to move with some freedom, I relaxed a little placing myself in a more comfortable position and then I fell asleep.
