Well, I should have got it years ago, but that meant I would have clear a way through vegetation for the wire to come into my house, and to clean up my computer room.

With a pruning shears I would cut down branches and get them out of the way, so the AT&T guy could easily bring the wire from the lines in my backyard to my house.

Well, I don't want to make it too hard on my AT&T installer.

I actually had 2 guys come over. The first guy was surprised at the growth of the tree and how he would get the wire from the back lines to the house. I told him I can cut down some branches, and I did.

He tried to contact the backyard neighbors to get to the fiber network lines and bring them to my house. I thought it might be easier than that, but like my late dad used to say, Nothing is easy, it just looks easy, but when you do it, it is pretty hard. Well, the saying was something like that.

Just like when you see some guitar player play. To some it looks easy, but then you are handed a guitar and if you don't know how to play, it is rather hard to make music come out of that guitar.

Anyway, the first guy came on a Saturday and he tried to talk to my neighbors behind me, but no one answered, then he left and said he would try to contact them later.

As for me I kept on trying to clean out branches that might get in the way of the work. Also I did clean up my computer room and found 2 pocket knives, tactical locking back kind. And I found another magnifying glass. Well, my eyes are not the same as they used to be, so when I need to read the fine print, the magnifying glass does come in handy.

Also I found a lot of pens, well us writers can always use another pen.

A lot of stuff I just sweep up and threw away and filled my 95 gallon trash can.

Well, I had to go out the next day, but on that Monday, I called AT&T again and told them about the first guy and how I tried to clean up the place so I can get that really fast fiber network internet.

So another guy came over. I told him about the first guy and he looked at the telephone wires in the back. This time he wanted to talk to the neighbor next to me and the neighbor next to him. Fortunately they both were home and let him in. So the guy went to work.

The wire was eventually brought to my house and anchored to some solid 2 by 4's and brought around the house to the room I wanted it to go. I knew they had to drill a hole through the wall and that he did.

The guy told me that he would get the same gateway and password as at first, but since then I bought another router, with a different name and a different password.

So I digged  into my closet and found the original router and looked up its password. Great now I have reliable internet now.

Well, my old internet is copper wire based and AT&T did not support the old system very well, they just tried to talk you into the new fiber network.

The only reason I called was they told me if I didn't call them to make an appointment for the new system, the old system was going to get cut off, by the 23rd of May, this year.

Well, now I have the faster speeds, I did check the speed recently at download 380 MBPS. Well my old system was not even close, on a good day I would get 15 MBPS, so you see this is really fast.

So I was very impressed with the new install of the fiber network and even my brother likes that I don't have interrupted internet.  You see, my old copper wire system worked up to about 8 or 9 am and then would come back around 4 or 5 pm, and I would just live with that.

So now it is continuous.
