Dear Steemians,

A friend can make you also a friend can brake you. A bad company, one way to test honest friendship is to determine the attitude of the other friend to what you should hold dear in life, be it honour, moral purity, the home and honesty. 

The friend who will not lead you to success or help you to succeed in life or the friend who will always lead you to perform acts of criminal, is no friend. The friend who discourages you from doing things that will make success come your way is no friend.  Hear the short story of a man, this man joined a group of thieves for a night out which was introduced to him through his best friend. 

They had painted for him a rosy picture of what the outcome would be. In their exploit that night they shot their gun into a house killing one women there. This man was the only one that was arrested. He was sentenced to death for murder. A night of thoughtless, careless friendship and two lives were ruined. 

Sometimes ago, read in Daily News reported the incident of two men who sold their friend into slavery. As result of that incident it is publicly warned that all residents of the country to beware what friends they kept. But such a painful outcome is not the only test of true friendship. A real friend is the man or women who gives you joy. It is the kind joy that you can always feel that God has sent to you. His heart is true and affectionate; his mind is much widened and deepened by the experiences of his life that he identifies himself with all that is good, never with what is bad. He holds the same relation with you as of years gone by and remains the same dear friend to you as long as both of you shall live. He does not run away from you because of your adversity. He remain true to you. 

No matter the hardship, or whatever you are going through in life, true friendship will always stay with you and help you out of that burden of life you are facing, only unreal friendship will forsake you when you are going through unpleasant experience in life. 

My Advice for general public: 
----
A wife must be first of all the true friend to her husband before they can live happily together in their home. So must a husband be the only trusted friend of his wife. Where the elements of true friendship and mutual trust are missing from a home, religions places, society, heavenly joy which is God’s gift to men will be missing for ever from such place.
