Can eye surgery make you Korean?

Neither can surgery on the genitalia make you a woman.

But it doesn’t make you a bad person either.

People should be free to make decisions about their bodies and identities. However, respect for personal choices does not mean the abandonment of common sense. It also doesn't imply the right to force others to acknowledge or act upon their identity through state intervention, such as DEI mandates or media censorship.

> Transgender women are not legally women, Britain’s highest court has declared in a landmark ruling - The Telegraph, 16 Apr 2025

Instead of advancing their rights at the expense of women’s rights, the transgender community could advocate for recognition of a distinct identity.

From being born male, through transition, to building a new life — the identity of the transitioned woman is unique and deserving of respect. However, insisting on being identical to biological women borders on internalized transphobia and veers into misogyny when driven by extreme woke demagoguery.

Transgender people lost when they handed their cause over to radicals who, after imposing the idea of all-powerful social constructs, quickly moved on to eroding women’s rights and the protection of childhood.

For years, we’ve seen a woke crusade aimed at denying the basic realities of nature, which has done nothing but undermine the transgender rights movement.

A conflict with women’s rights was never inevitable, however. Look at Asian nations like Nepal, India, and Thailand, where transgender women are respected as the third gender, not claimed to be real women.

Rather than trying to redefine biological sex, transgender individuals should advocate for recognition of the two T-genders as distinct and legitimate legal identities. That could offer a more sustainable way forward for transgender community.
