The activity that I can't stand the most doing in my life is without a doubt dealing with the landlord, any interaction, literally... Because when something big breaks, like the fridge, boiler, etc., it's his job to fix it and especially to pay for it... So every time it turns into a war because he never wants to pay, because it's our fault if something broke, and because since we are the ones using these things we should split the cost and so on and so forth, and so it always drags on, with us having things that we need but that don’t work in the apartment and him not wanting to spend money (by law he should be the one paying for certain things I’d like to point out, we’re not the ones trying to be sneaky).

Then, the times he has to come here, of course he always has to comment on everything, like because there are those plants on the balcony that lose leaves and ruin the balcony floor and in the kitchen you should put the cloth under the dishes when they have to dry otherwise stains remain (the kitchen is unfortunately his, the only furniture that’s not ours) and to be careful because his kitchen is worth 5000€! But it doesn’t even have a dishwasher... In short, he's as pleasant and fun as a utility bill... Unfortunately, we can't do much except contain it and somehow carry on because there are no more rentals, houses for sale cost a ton of money and so we don’t have many choices... The only solution would be to buy a house and tell him to go to hell.
