This morning as I got to my office, and realized my colleague is not at her place. She's the new girl sitting right beside me at the same island. After found out from our superior, that she was having a good time at home enjoying her quarantine time. Not that she's sick, but her brother just came back from a high risk location. So, she's actually being nice to stay home instead of bringing fear to us.

At the same time, head office send in another high ranking officer to our office. As far as we know, they need to "decentralized" some high ranking personnel to the branches to avoid the whole higher level peeps in one risky basket. It's simple, they just want some of their high ranking people here, in case if the breakout happened in the head office, the whole building being locked down, there are personnel stationed at the branches to continue operation. Smart eh? Well, it could be worst. The central of the City is running at high risk now. Sending someone to the branch, could possibly just bring some gems to the branches and kill the branch operation.

Anyway, the guy is a very respectable man. Despite that, we wouldn't let our guards down. Sorry to not shake hands, but I got my family to take care of. I wish I can get a permit to work from home this entire time, but until we get an instruction from the human resource, we're not allowed to work from home. Those who entitled for a paid holiday, will be a confirmed case of infection. Now who would want that? So, yeah. Thanks but no thanks.
