<h1>Chrome + MetaMask</h1>

I posted earlier today about [how to participate in the EOS crowdsale using MyEtherWallet](https://steemit.com/howto/@dawidrams/tutorial-how-to-prepare-for-the-ico-of-eos-tomorrow) but some people asked my to also do a tutorial for MetaMask. This should be more straightforward because you can use EOS interface which will be available tomorrow.

What you need is Chrome because MetaMask is a Chrome plugin.

Go to https://metamask.io/ and get the plugin.

Set your password.

Copy 12 words on paper or take a photo and store on a pendrive. Make sure to save them in few independent locations/drives.

Now to make transaction you will use  EOS interface which will be available tomorrow here: https://eos.io/information (scroll down to see it)

Also claiming part will be much easier than using MyEtherWallet:

The EOS tokens will be reserved for you to claim when the period completes.

    ABI / JSON Interface: available on June 26th, 2017 at 13:00 UTC

If you are using google chrome and have MetaMask installed, you can claim it using the interface.
