Hi everyone, 

A month ago, I drove to a village named Essé en Brittany to meet [Sarah](https://peakd.com/hive-108913/@dawnoner/sarah-part-4-lightpainting), a model I collaborated with a year and a half ago in the suburbs of Rennes for a lightpainting session. That time, we made an infrared photoshoot around a lake, and after that in a rapeseed field.

After that, I found a nice food truck in the middle of nowhere(!) and I drove to a location I wanted to see with my own eyes since I was a kid : la Roche aux Fées. This is problably the most impressive dolmen I've ever seen. 

It's really weird to see that this megalith is close to the road, with minimal facilities around it...

A couple of minutes after my arrival, a couple of retired canadians from Calgary parked close to my car. They were very nice, we talked about half an hour about travels, arts, culture...everything! At first, they thought I was the gardian of the site 😆 They decided to stay here for the night, to enjoy the megalith at dawn on thursday morning. Another camping-car parked a bit later, just before dusk. It was a french family who had the exact same plan as my canadians folks.

Absolutely no light-pollution at all here, the sky was clear as ever 😀😀😀
I used a powerful flashlight to lit the megalith in front (gently) and in back (strongly).
For the abstract light calligraphy, I used my holographic wand, a translucent plexiglas rod and a simple white cone with a small flashlight.

I stayed there about 4 hours. I wanted to spend the entire night here but I had to go : I had a one hour and a half drive to go home and a wake up call at 9 am.

Salut tout le monde,

Il y a un mois, je me suis rendu dans un village breton nommé Essé pour rencontrer [Sarah](https://peakd.com/hive-108913/@dawnoner/sarah-part-4-lightpainting), un modèle avec qui j'ai collaboré il y a un an et demi dans la banlieue de Rennes pour une séance de lightpainting. Cette fois-là, nous avons fait un shooting en photographie infrarouge autour d'un lac, puis dans un champ de colza.

Après ça, j'ai trouvé un food truck sympa au milieu de nulle part (!) et j'ai roulé jusqu'à un endroit que je voulais voir de mes propres yeux depuis tout petit : la Roche aux Fées. C'est probablement le dolmen le plus impressionnant que j'ai jamais vu.

C'est vraiment bizarre de voir que ce mégalithe est proche de la route, avec un minimum d'installations autour...

Quelques minutes après mon arrivée, deux retraités canadiens de Calgary se sont garés près de ma voiture. Ils étaient très gentils, nous avons discuté durant une demi-heure environ de voyages, d'arts, de culture... de tout ! Au début, ils pensaient que j'étais le gardien du site 😆 Ils ont décidé de rester ici pour la nuit, pour profiter du dolmen à l'aube du jeudi matin. Un autre camping-car s'est garé un peu plus tard, juste avant le crépuscule. C'était une famille française qui avait exactement le même projet que mes amis canadiens.

Absolument aucune pollution lumineuse ici, le ciel était clair comme jamais 😀😀😀
J'ai utilisé une lampe de poche puissante pour éclairer le dolmen devant (doucement) et derrière (fortement).
Pour la calligraphie lumineuse abstraite, j'ai utilisé ma baguette holographique, une tige de plexiglas translucide et un simple cône blanc avec une petite lampe de poche.

J'y suis resté environ 4 heures. Je voulais passer toute la nuit ici mais il fallait que j'y aille : j'avais 1h30 de route pour rentrer chez moi et un réveil à 9h.
