Global CO2 Levels Rose at a Record Rate Last Year.
****Last Year the recorded levels of CO2 surged to the highest levels ever, and at a faster rate of growth than predicted.**** The rate of increase leads scientists to conclude that overall temperatures will rise by a further 2-3 degrees, than previously accepted, and that sea levels will rise by at least 10 meters higher than currently. This is confirmed by the World Meteorological Organisation.

In 2016 C02 Levels reached 403.3 parts per million, and increased by 3.3 parts in the 12 months. The increase is mainly from burning of fossil fuels, and is added to by nature. Ice core samples show that the rate of increase is faster and higher than at any time in the past 150 years.

We know from previous Greenhouse events during World history that increased CO2 Levels at current rates will lead to massive temperate changes within 50 to 100 years.

This week has been the World Climate Change conferance in Germany, the 23rd and it is run by the United Nations. The conference has shown that huge gaps are apparent between the pledged levels of reduction from the 2015 Paris climate accord, and the results in many countries. The target of keeping temperature increases to a maximum of 2 degrees, is likely to be far surpassed if current rates are not drastically reduced.

Scientists have proven that sea level increases will be at least 55% higher than previously accepted modelling has shown by the International Panel on Climate Change.

The WMO said that current CO2 levels are now 45% higher than in 1750. The 3.3 parts per million increase last year was 50% higher than the average over the past decade of 2.21 ppm.

The news is very bad, and without very rapid reduction in Global CO2 Levels, and other Greenhouse gas emissions, we are surging towards incredibly dangerous temperature increases in the coming 50 years.

We are leaving a disaster, and deadly situation for future generations, and it our last chance to make a difference in the coming ten years.
