If you're an avid hiker, it doesn't take long to realize that Google Maps leaves a lot to be desired, so HikePack made their own navigation app specifically with hikers in mind.

Personally the elevation data is the most impressive to me which helps you know what you're getting yourself into potentially before you set out!

Oh and of course everything is also available in offline mode since you don't know where you might lose service while out there on the trail.  :D
