At first I didn't believe in web3 and crypto ,it seemed too risky and incredible complicated and difficult. But after learning and experiencing it myself I become convinced. Web3 and cryptocurrency is changing, how we use the internet and money is all changing. Web3 is the next version of the internet,where users have more control instead of big companies like facebook and Google . Cryptocurrencies like ethereum and bitcoin are digital money that work freely without bank. I want to share my journey how started ,what I learned.

How my journey started

When I first heard about bitcoin 2018. I thought it was just for hackers or illegal deals , the news always talked about scams and people losing money, So I stayed away from anything that concern cryptocurrency. Late  2020 a friend of my told me about ethereum and how it could do great things,  more than just  payment ,it could run app ,I was curious about it but still unsure. I decided to invest in a new coin without researching property about it, the project looked exciting but after a few weeks  the developers disappointed with  a lot of people money including my, I lost some of cash and felt stupid.the experience tough me a lesson never to invest in something I don't  understand.

What changed my mind

Year's passed. Early last year after my lost another friend of my introduce tap to earn web3 and cryptocurrency, I told him I wasn't interested if it involves me putting my money. He said no it's doesn't involve me put my money and explain how it works. It's just tap to earn web3 and cryptocurrency eg like toma, blum , dog's major, hamster and many more. So I decided to give it a try since I don't need to put my money in it, after six months of tapping and doing other taxe the rewards finally paid out. That was when I started to believe on web3 and  cryptocurrency. I started to pick seriousness, I read about blockchain technology how it's secure transparent and can not be control by one person or company,I also saw some of my friends making money in different ways like trading cryptocurrency buy low and selling high , staking cryptocurrency and earning interest by locking up coins , also NFTS selling digital art or collectible and Defi earning form lending or liquidity pools all this wasn't just gambling but it was a new financial system. 

How has my journey been going

The journey wasn't easy but I was able to learn new skills I learned about wallets, smart contract and how to spot good project also unlike the bank crypto work 24 hours and l can send money anywhere without high fee's.  all though the journey was hard and I face some losses ,some of my investment grew a lot.

Starting the journey of web3 and cryptocurrency wasn't easy I face a lot of scams fake project , phishing attack and pump and dump schemes also I faced volatility price swing wildly some days I am up  50%  and others am down 30%. Some times I do get confused but the more I learned the easier it got.

My recommendation to beginners on webs and cryptocurrency.

If you want to learn web3 and crypto as a beginner you must have to learn go on research before you invest , this is the common mistake people do ,they don't go on research to learn more about a coin they just  want to make money. to go far on web3 and crypto you have to on research watch youtube video like coin bureau, white board crypto to earn more about web3 and crypto, read free guide on coin market cap academy or binance academy. Use trusted exchange and wallet like binance , coinbase, bybit . Start small and be patient  don't put all your money at once ,buy a little if possible every month. Try web3 apps like defi which  use uniswal to swap tokens of Aave to lend crypto  but lastly avoid common mistake don't chase hype coin most of them are scams never share your private key it's like you are going away you bank password and also ignore the mindset of getting Rich quick schemes real gain take time.

In summary my journey  with web3 and crypto started with doubt ,but I latter believe it . Yes there are risk but the opportunities are huge, if you want to start web3 and crypto you must have to educate yourself first on web3 and crypto. Star small and be patient and don't fall for scams this are the main the key things you should know. I strongly believe in years to come we look back and wonder how we once used the old internet and banking system because I  feel the future will be good and decentralized
