Hi there Hivers and all the splinterlovers! Greetings! Summer is already here and its really hot. Joining Splinterlands Social Media Challenge for this time will be centered on Equalizer Ruleset. Its not a new ruleset but i would like to share ideas on how to engage with this rule. ---
https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/dd1100/AKzADgFJvrDJ1hg6EVJHmi3NcdvSeVMbTtByGHz3gnRnx8V9CEB7KAjgSk4x1Wx.png
#### **Equalizer** #### > "The initial health of all units is equal to that of the unit of either team with the highest base health." - So basically, its a ruleset that will balance both players monster cards health in the field. Whatever the highest Monster's Card health that exist in the battle field, it will be the amount of health that be posses of all the monster cards on the field. Take note that this is without a buff. So, the Equalizer ruleset is for health balance. --- #### Battle Sample #### **Rulesets:**

- I am going to provide a sample battle with **Equalizer** and **Counter Spell** in the rulesets. With 58 mana capacity and Fire and Dragon Splinters are not playable for this one. **My Team:** |Cards|

| |-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-| |Card Position|
Summoner
1st Position
2nd Position
3rd Position
4th Position
5th Position
6th Position
| |Abilities in its Level|

| - Choosing Water Splinters with **Possibilus the Wise** as Summoner because i am taking advantage of its additional 2 health from its skill boosts. With Counter Spell present in the Rulesets, I wont use Magic damage dealers in this fight simply because they are in difficult situation. Continuing, **Diemonshark** on the front, It has a Retaliate ability and the Trample is perfect for this card. Dissintegrator that got Demorilized debuff to opponent and of course the Retaliate is also there. **Deeplurker** would be my main attacker for this battle because of its Opportunity and Poison abilities. **Merdaali Guardian** will be the support and i decided to use this simply because it has **Strengthen Ability** that is giving an edge in the Equalizer ruleset. Well of course, support is also necessary specially those heals and repairs that became more valuable because of the Counter Spell ruleset is present.** Supply Runner** also was used because of the Strengthen ability and some good range damage. Last but the least, **Wave Brood** in the back. To lessen the pressure of the attack to the front, i decided to use taunt. It also protects my other Monsters with much more prone to damage that will be targeted by opportunity ability. **The Battle:**

My opponent is playing this battle with Earth Splinters. Its a combination of Chaos and Rebellion series and the summoner is Lobb with Conscript skill that summon a Gladius card, **Tatiania Blade**. So let us see the outcome.

Ok, in round one, i will not explain any battle highlights but i will show you the health buffs that was used in the fight. As you can see, my team was reaching 18 Health while my opponent is just 14 in numbers. So where those health came from? My summoner is boosting +2 health and i used 2 monster cards posses the Strengthen ability that made it to +4 health boost total to my team. And also my opponent did not use any health booster to its team so there are no additional life adjustments.

2nd round cost the front card of my opponent to leave the field. Although Merdaali Guardian is not an attacking monster card, it is a great support one in this fight to keep the other card present to the battle field.

The battle ended in round 6 in my favor. It took a while because of the Equalizer ruleset. - Playing the **Equalizer Ruleset** should be health noted. You should add health as much as possible to your team and check the type of attacks that should be implemented. Playing splinterlands is always a combination of Skills and abilities of your Summoner and monsters. And of course your presence of mind. ###### You can watch the full battle [HERE](https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_f85b7bf52a2f92cba938deb94b13de64?ref=dd1100). ###### --- You want to join the game? click it [HERE](https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=dd1100) for my referral and start your journey!
