On the blockchain, no one can hear you scream...Over how cool this new Funko Pop is!

So, yeah, picked up a new Funko Pop for my collection. Found this really rad 16 bit styled Xenomorph from the Alien/Aliens movies. They've recently been doing a lot of horror and video game characters in this style, and I really dig it a lot. Some other notable ones they've released lately are a Freddy Krueger pop, Jason Vorhees pop and a Predator pop in this style. I've always been a huge fan of the Alien/Aliens franchise, so I pretty much will scoop up anything cool or interesting involving it so long as I can afford it. And, thankfully, Funko Pops are usually only $8-10. Though that still means I can only pick up one or two every once and awhile, because they add up pretty quickly!

I do have to say though, this thing is probably the heaviest Funko Pop that I have ever owned or even held. That's kind of crazy considering that this is just a normal sized model, and some of the Funko Pops I own are 3 inches taller and much wider. This thing is filled to the brim, without anything being hollow on the inside. I could probably chuck this son of a bitch at someones head and cause them an injury if I tried hard enough. That's just another good reason to own it I reckon.

Even with it being modeled to look blocky and 16 bit, I think the details on it are done pretty well/impressive. There's a few blemishes I noticed on this particular piece, but even still I'm pretty happy with it and think it's a very cool add on to my collection.

And, now, to the really nerdy part of the post. You see, I couldn't just take pictures of this out in the daytime, that would be too easy. Instead, I had to mess around with taking pictures of it in the dark, mostly because I was bored and like to play around with taking pictures too much for my own good, probably. Otherwise, I would have never ended up on those websites with the clowns and bears...But, we're not here to talk about my poor life choices. We're here to talk about a cool figure!

I thought this was a pretty cool shot of it, and it fits with the figure very well considering these creatures in the films use the darkness to their advantage to blend in and hide until it's time to strike. I really wish I had a better camera to work with, as I think I could take some really, really cool shots if I had a DSLR or something at least better than just my phone camera. Anyways, just wanted to show off my new pop a bit and figured I'd make a post out of it. Hope you guys don't mind me nerding out. Thanks for stopping by to read my nonsense, appreciate it!
