## How to Introduce the Observers Community Ben created a video on the Observers Community, so I will do the update without that. You can watch the video and get a primer on what Suspicious Observers is looking at and why. It looks like the last 24 hours has been very quiet. No sunspots or solar flares to report. Solar wind has dropped down and the Planetary K-index has dropped off the chart. The coronal hole stream and the large filament that snapped a couple of days ago should start affecting the Earth soon. There is a small southern coronal hole coming into center disc. http://solen.info/solar/images/comparison_recent_cycles.png The current sunspot cycle is still very low. There were a couple of large earthquakes yesterday, the one on the Iraq/Iran border was very devistating. [Death toll in powerful Iran-Iraq earthquake passes 300](http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/12/middleeast/iraq-earthquake/index.html). The [Costa Rica earthquake did not produce a Tsunami threat](http://abc7.com/65-earthquake-rocks-costa-rica/2639041/). * [7.3 magnitude earthquake](https://earthquaketrack.com/quakes/2017-11-12-18-18-17-utc-7-3-23) in Iraq with multiple 4+ magnitude aftershocks * [6.5 magnitude earthquake](https://earthquaketrack.com/quakes/2017-11-13-02-28-24-utc-6-5-19) in Costa Rica. This is along the line of the big Mexico earthquakes earlier this year.
