<html> <p> You may have heard kids, teenagers, or young adults shouting inside gaming cafes at the top of their lungs. It's safe to say that DotA 2 may be one of those games that will unleash your inner beast.<br> </p> <p><strong>Defense of the Ancients 2</strong> or popularly known as <strong>DoTA 2</strong> is a role-playing slash multiplayer online game. For those wondering, it's free to play but there are in-house items that you can purchase. I'm writing this despite the fact that I still have a lot to learn, too. He patiently taught me most of the things that I have to know. We frequent Pacific Cybercafe in Cubao to play and we treat this as a date. It's a cheaper alternative because we only pay at least 10-15 pesos per hour. Sometimes, we spend 5-10 hours playing</em>. </p> <blockquote>In this game, you will test each other's patience. So before you decide to play with your partner or friends, brace yourselves for possible (small) fights.<br> </blockquote> <p>To start, you will need an account in <strong>Steam</strong>. It is an online gaming platform developed by Valve Corporation. You can do it in a gaming shop where you can find the application under the online gaming folder. If there is no icon for DotA 2, you have to install it first. This will help you understand how a hero works. The heroes in the tutorials are picked by DotA 2 since these are recommended for beginners because it's easy to learn. The hotkeys are important. Hotkeys are the ones you click on your keyboard to do commands in game. There are 112 heroes you can choose from. Heroes are divided into three categories: Strength, Agility, and Intelligence. However, the first hero I tried was Sniper or previously known as Cardel. Sniper is an agility and <em>ranged</em> hero as it can attack from a distance. Heroes can also be categorized as ranged and melee heroes. To do this, on the lower right, click the <strong>Play Dota</strong> button.
