Apple Pie Recipe

Who likes **apple pie**? Today I was in the mood to eat some apple pie but I was too lazy to make it. A friend of mine makes the most delicious apple pie in the world. She agreed to let me share her apple pie recipe with you. Here are the ingredients you need:

**The filling**
* 1 kg of apples
* 140 g of powder brown sugar
* 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
* 3 table spoons of flour

**The dough**
* 225 g of butter (room temperature) 
* 50 g of brown powdered sugar
* 2 eggs
* 350 g of flour
* whipped cream for decor

Peel of the apples and slice them. Place them on a baking tray and cover them with paper napkins.

Mix the sugar with the butter. Add one egg and one egg yolk. Keep the white for later. Mix these ingredients for one more minute.

Using a wooden spoon, gradually add the flour, one third of it, stirring continuously. Knead the dough until all the ingredients are homogenized. Then cover it with plastic wrap and leave it in the fridge for 45 minutes.

While the dough is in the fridge, you can start preparing the filling. First you have to mix in a large bowl the cinnamon with the 140 grams of sugar and flour.

Heat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Beat the remaining white with a fork. Cut about 2/3 of the dough, keeping the rest in foil. Spread the hull in a 20-22 cm tray, covering the edges.

Add the apples to the bowl of cinnamon, flour and sugar, mix a little and then put the whole composition in the tray over the dough.

Before putting the tart into the oven make five cuts in the dough laid above the composition, like a lid, to let the steam come out. Lubricate the surface with the beaten egg and the sugar press. Bake the apple pie for 40-45 minutes until it gets a golden shade. After removing it from the oven, let it cool for 5-10 minutes.
