# Is it worth the risk? #

What I can say (I am a blogger not an advisor) is that EOS is built on a very promising dapp platform. It can't be sure if it will kill all other platforms, but what is sure is its founder has more "dapp" experience than everyone else. EOS is built on Ethereum and because of its strategy, EOS seems like a much more interesting investment compared to other coins! The offering is spread out so less frenzy and for each period the coin is offered to buyers auction style, meaning all purchasers during that period get the same price.
