# 1. As per my username, I'm all for Decentralization, but what does that really mean? Everything is decentralized, right? Wrong.
There are so many buzzwords being thrown around today that were taken far more seriously just 2-5 years ago, it's sort of sad to see the ignorant side of the crypto community, not only because they fall for so many false promises, weak game plans and hype machines to attempt and generate a profit, but mainly because the overall effect is taking away from the crypto currency movement as a whole and thats why we sit around arguing instead of moving together towards a direction that everyone can benefit from. 

When I first heard about Bitcoin, Blockchains & the concept of Decentralization, I was floored, surely this was too good to be true? I felt like I had lifted the veil behind why the world ticks the way it does, and it all came back the central banking, the piss poor monetary design we had grown accustomed too and more of all why we all have to slave so hard, for so very little..

Then when I realized it wasn't too good to be true, and it could ultimately shape the future of our planet, I started becoming obsessed with crypto currency. This was back in 2011 mind you, when everytime you told someone about Bitcoin it was as if you were telling them you had a frozen alien in your backyard... so it took a bit of shamelessness to try and involve others. So as many of you, overtime I grew sick of preaching about Bitcoin everyday of my life and needed a better way to help push Decentralization forward..

### Fast forward a few years and I'm still on that same mission..
But now instead of telling my friends, family and everyone online 1 by1 (I still do that, on occasion) I've moved into the realm of actually doing my part to push the decentralization & crypto movement forward on a full-time basis. I've recently become involved of one of the most interesting coins to date, #SmartCash. We've had the unique opportunity to take our years of hands on crypto knowledge from users, investors, visionaries and everyone we've met along the way to create a version of what we believe is not only a very solid crypto currency project, but perhaps the next iteration of a digital economy. That same digital, decentralized economy most of us envisioned when first learning about Bitcoin so many years ago.


# 2. With #SmartCash were doing something extremely bold and forward thinking, in my opinion.
Many of you are familiar with the need to fund the development, support, growth & marketing of any cryptocurrency project these days, well @SmartCash has taken that concept, combined it with community governance and set it loose. This sets the stage for a VERY nimble, decentralized & explosive growth & adoption phase among users, merchants & the overall globe.

### With SmartCash, the block reward is split multiple times, the miners initially mine a block worth 5000 coins, which is then distributed as such:

- 15% SmartReward Pool (All Hodler's are eligible)
- 80% SmartHive Funding & Governance Platform

Sound interesting yet? Yes that means we will have quite the budget for growth, employment, and anything else the community votes on, with their tokens. Oh and each SmartCash a user holds is equal to 1 vote they have in the SmartHive Budget System. Pretty cool huh?

# 3. SmartCash is about more than just being a profitable crypto currency and breaking ATH's every weekend..
SmartCash is not just another coin project to me, it's more like the accumulative efforts of people in the space that I respect who's main goal is to see crypto currency take off worldwide, while maintaing the humanitarian edge that made it a household name in the first place such as fungibility (privacy), community driven governance & most of all be accessible to anyone and everyone worldwide, even the unbanked.

SmartCash has not been designed mindlessly, years of learning , countless chat logs and months of planning went into the fundamentals behind SmartCash, the name, the colors, the branding, the structure and everything else, and we believe we've gotten as close to a true decentralized economy as is feasible with technology, now it's time to turn it loose.

# 4. Steem + SmartCash are similar in many ways, starting with the visions pushing them.
The reason I like #Steemit is the exact same reason I whole heartedly believe in #SmartCash, the vision behind the platform was created to help the USERS, and everyone else who believes in the system at hand. It is not a system designed for traders, speculators or even large investors. Sure those things will always be present, but what Steem may lack in professionalism towards investors it gains ten fold by always putting its users first. As has been seen with recent data around the sign ups.

This is why as long as I am part of the marketing team on #SmartCash, #Steem will be a top priority for us, not because we can earn money by posting here, but because the exact same users Steem has, we want to reward! We are all trying to create world where we can manage our money as easy as our text messages and the only way to get there is to support one another until the goal is achieved.
