In this video, we answer the question, “What is Steemit?”

We first discuss the social aspects of Steemit by talking about it as a social media platform. We then move our focus to the STEEM blockchain, which is what Steemit.com runs on top of. From there, we change our discussion to cryptocurrency, particularly STEEM tokens, which is what Steemit rewards its user for participation and contribution to the site. We wrap up by talking about how users get paid for their participation and engagement on Steemit.com.
