But this is a skill that requires a certain amount of effort to master. For example, so that in the future, children not only play with pleasure only, but also do their homework.

If children create something without external influence, it helps maintain their self-esteem. The ability to enjoy loneliness not only develops the imagination, but also provides a sense of satisfaction for the successful work and your life.

## How to teach him?
If it is difficult for your baby to be alone, at least not for long, then you can try to change this and make it more independent.

### 1. Before sending your child to play alone.

The child will be by your side, but busy with something of his own and important. Be sure to notice and observe your independence.

Prepare all the necessary toys and materials together, start the plot of the game, after a while invite the child to think about what will happen next, listen carefully, let the child lose it and then do something without moving away. Then, ask to tell what happened without your participation, express your feeling of joy for what you heard.

Children are creatures dependent on adults. They feel that adults can protect them under any circumstances and often sincerely hate spending time apart from their parents. It's hard for them to be alone, and everything seems insecure.

### 5. Give a boost.
Most children need a little push at the beginning to incorporate their creative expression. Suggest toys your child likes and ask them to invent a story with them. Then, they can sit together for the child to tell the story and they wrote it. For many families, this becomes a favorite hobby, and children write entire books.

### 6. Warn about leaving him alone.
If you decide to leave the room, be sure to warn the child about this, saying come back quickly. "And be sure to do so. It is important that the child knows that he can trust his words.

### 7. Training moments can be everywhere, even a TV and a tablet can help us.

If the child spent time in front of the TV screen or with a tablet in his hands, and was alone for some time, ask him what he learned there, what interesting things he can say. Children like to feel important and competent, it is important that they demonstrate that they know something and that they can do it, and even parents can teach it. Therefore, we foster an independent ability to learn something new.

But remember, although the child's time with the device gives parents the opportunity to do something quickly without the child's participation, it does not count as a full-fledged independent game. For children, especially preschoolers, it is important for the development of the literal manipulation of objects, the participation of the whole body in the game, and this does not happen with the devices.

### 8. The independent game does not develop playing alone.

In fact, independence is born ... from interaction with others. The hours spent playing with dinosaurs, playing ball and hide and seek, playing mother-daughter with other children will support the child's imagination at a time when he is alone.

### 9. If the child is busy with something,
There is no need to try to give him another toy or book that you think is more useful or interesting. Nor do we like to be interrupted.
