If you are using this platform like facebook, and clicking upvotes as if they are likes, you are not helping yourself to grow. You notice every upvote you do gets you nothing back? and every upvote is seemingly worth 0.00? Well you have voted way too much. Let's have a look at your vote power, and what you have left, or not as the case may be. Go to https://steemd.com/@ after the @ put your user name, and it will show you your stats, if your vote power is below 90% then basically because we are not worth a lot, you are voting with little to no effect. To get back to the day you arrived here with 100% you need to NOT vote, and let it fill back up to 100% or at least in the 90`s. Then spread your votes out over the course of 24 hours, keeping the power above 89%, it also seems early voting on big earners is also a no no, leave it at least 15 minutes, there is a tendency to go with the flow, and vote for the trending, or top earners by us newbies, though if you stop and think about it, you and I are then not voting on the best quality material, so I now only vote on material I like, and people I like, we then ensure the rewards are shared more evenly than just giving it to the top 1%. I may throw the odd vote in for a photo or a top earner based purely on the fact it is simply about motorbikes, and I love motorbikes, the point is, vote for what you like. I hope this helps you understand voting a little more? If any of the above is not factually correct, I am open to editing this, and to constructive criticism. I have wrote something similar before, though as I now have a lot more newcomer followers I decided to do it again, please also check this article and 47 minute video, and it will help you massively. https://steemit.com/steemit/@deliberator/help-guide-for-us-newer-members Peace and love, steem on and stay awesome!............
