## Introduction
---
The following is an announcement for yet another development milestone reached, the GRC discord bot now has rain functionality! You can now chip-in GRC to rain on the users of the server after reaching a target.

You can find the source code for the bot [here](https://github.com/delta1512/GRC-Wallet-Bot) and there will be details on how to donate or rain further in the post.

## What's next?
---
### BOINC Stats
I will look for opportunities to gather live BOINC computation statistics in order to allow the bot to report on how much science is being crunched. There isn't much I intend on adding other than that and looking at total credits or doing a few [credit to FLOP conversions](https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Computation_credit).

This will require some more brainstorming and I encourage the community to help suggest some ideas.

### Block Exploring Features
I intend on adding various block exploring features after the RPC refactor such as block data, tx data and other blockchain statistics, sort of like @Jringo 's [SOTN](https://steemit.com/gridcoin/@jringo/gridcoin-state-of-the-network-12-may-2018) analyses.

I'll have to find a little bit of time for this because it will take a while to develop and test all the input validation things, but I must thank @barton26 for helping me break things on the testing bot.

## Faucet and Rainbot Donations

### Faucet
My faucet provides the highest amount of any non-researcher GRC faucet per request and is the place where a lot of users are getting their GRC. I keep it well topped up but some help from the community wouldn't hurt. You can donate by either sending GRC straight to the address below, donating some of your balance in the bot using `%fgive` or promoting or upvoting this Steemit post.

### Rainbot
The rainbot will collect donations until the balance is over a certain threshold, then it will divide the balance randomly over the online users in the server. You can donate by either sending GRC straight to the address below, donating some of your balance in the bot using `%rain` or promoting or upvoting this Steemit post.
