Who doesn’t love the idea of fast money? I know I do. Lol

Holozing is widely known right now for the sweet APR delegators enjoy in $ZING staked drips. I think it’s attracted quite a good number of people to the game, building momentum and anticipation about the game whiles we wait for it to officially roll out. 

A few weeks ago, I was chatting with @abu and the hottest game on Hive, Holozing came up. In a casual conversation, he mentioned how he already earned over $20 worth or $ZING by delegating just 1k HP over a month period. That got my fingers tipsy. 

When I got home, I did a 150 HP delegation on my alt account (depressed.leo) to get a feel of what the earnings were like. I mean, I already saw the APRs for the different earning options in the rewards section and all, but I needed to SEE, you know. 

About 24 hours after delegating that 150HP, I came back to claim my first reward and I saw about 8 $ZING. I did some quick math and that was equivalent to 0.24 Hive($ZING was trading at 0.03HIVE at the time). This was all I needed to see to make a decision on how much to delegate, because I had planned how much Hive my delegation will earn in $ZING equivalent on average and how that’ll play out over a year period. But that’s not really how it works is it?

I ignored the fact that $ZING was not a stable coin and so was subject to volatility. My analysis was completely based on the fact that $ZING would keep trading at the price it was at the time. Lol that reminds me of my plan with @merit.ahama to take advantage of a certain coin like that some few months ago. How’s that going for us, Merit? Yeah sorry.

### $ZING still remains a very profitable investment

Regardless of the price decline, delegating to zingtoken seems to be a very profitable investment of HP as it stands right now. 

The 1.5k HP delegation I did about a month and half ago has garnered a little over 4k $ZING for me right now. Even considering that &ZING price took an about 50% drop from the price it was trading at when I did my delegation and when I did all my earning potential $ZING projections, I would argue that it’s a sweet ROI.

However, it is noticeable that the APRs of the various earning streams have gone down significantly (most likely a move to control distribution) especially the HP Delegation option, which is the option most people tend to choose. Perhaps it’s time to explore different options like adding liquidity or holding more POSH as alternative methods to earn

It is obvious that $ZING is not the get-rich-quick scheme people might’ve thought it to be. That would make it a ponzi scheme. Lol
